Since kindergarten, I have worked furiously to get into a school like Yale University. I was a high achiever, and this was mainly for college admissions. I didn’t let a single detail of my stats slip through the cracks. I counted extra credit assignments like a crazy person. I put my all into every class I had. But I maintain that while working hard, you also need to be working smart and specific.
