My path to Cornell University's Mechanical Engineering program wasn't linear. It was a journey, like most things in life, fueled by a desire to understand the world's intricate workings and translate that knowledge into tangible solutions. Several institutions figured prominently in my college search, each offering unique strengths. My short list included Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins, Cal Tech, and UCLA. However, Cornell emerged as the perfect crucible to ignite my passion for engineering, for several reasons.
